This is part 2 of the previously reviewed Mom and Baby series. It’s the same format—there is a leader who addresses the participants concerns every week then there is a topic that is pertinent to the age of the babies and often there is a guest speaker who comes to talk. Recently I was out with the moms who I met in the baby series classes at Becoming and we were discussing how vital these classes have been to us. Not only did we meet each other and form a support group—but the information that was given to us helped so much in getting us into a routine with our little ones. The leader (we had Ariana) addressed our questions and gave us great suggestions. I find that these classes reassure you that you are not alone, guide you along the way and create a support network for moms.
I would recommend this class to everyone and anyone who has a baby—I feel like this is what moms need to maintain sanity. The times were convenient as these baby series classes at Becoming are scheduled around nap times. Nursing and Bottle-feeding are every day occurrences during the class which is wonderful. Handouts are given every week so that you don't have to remember everything that was said in class!
