I was away for the long weekend and found myself without some of our "essential" toys. My mom grabbed an empty coffee tin and created a great toy for my little mover. Because it rolled (and rolled away from him when he would touch it) it kept him going and going. Of course empty formula tins also work well.
The next day my mom added some things to the tin to make some noise--which just made it all the more fun.
Combine this with the post a couple of months ago when we created a sorting toy and you have some pretty great entertainment.
Sure..it's not as nice as the one pictured with this post, but my son didn't care at all and it saves us all some money!
