Lionel's Farm

Although it was cold today, we made the decision to drive up to Lionel's Farm. My friend Jen told us about it, and I am so glad that she did. We went to the FREE petting zoo. You pull in, park your car and walk around an area where the kids can go and feed and pet the very friendly animals. On the website it states to: PLEASE bring ONLY mini carrots, cut celery, cut lettuce and bread. So we brought some carrots. Well--we could have brought a lot more than we brought--the animals were so excited to see us and my little guy was reaching out and feeding the animals--it was wonderful.

Because it's free, you can stay for as little or as long as you want. It's a great opportunity for children (and adults) to see animals up close.

It's north of Toronto--19th and McCowan.

Check out their website for more details:

It's a great activity!
